Who should libertarians support in the Corby by election?

Oct 26, 2012
By

The Corby by election will be fast upon us. My party, the nascent Pro Liberty, will not be standing, neither will the Independent Libertarian Network, as far as I know or LPUK, but James Delingpole’s standing and the Georgist YPP, plus the usual gang. So, what do y’all think?

I hope everyone only votes once! This is not Chicago, after all.

It will be interesting to see how many spoilt ballot papers come out in the count.

Delingpole has pulled out (or maybe never had any real intention of standing). Do all those who voted for Delinpole above get a second preference vote?

Well Delingpole had the opportunity to put his money where his mouth was (in this case £500) but guess he managed to secure all the publicity that he required for free so guess he is happy to abuse the electoral process in this manner, I am sure he will articulate an intelligent argument for doing this but the reality is he was show casing pure & simple in order to self publicise.
