Alex hits a low near Looe

Loneliness, the landscape and fatigue have caught up with Alex.

The support of his friends and interested people on Facebook brought him out of it, and the help of local people such as those at the Driftwood B&B (click for map):

Oh and we’ve also nearly made it to £1000 raised for RNLI!! Thank you and I will be replying to messages over the next few days- I promise! ‪#‎longwalkround‬ https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/longwalkround

LATER:

Just another £9,000 and 18 months of walking to go then 😉

If Alex gets to Fowey, there is a superb tea shop on Fore Street (the main street) called the Dwelling House. Best wishes for this endeavour. Pay day draws near and I shall chip in.

Supporter from Illinois has supported. :>) Thanks to Simon for publicizing this. The cause itself is worthy and so is Simon’s libertarian activism.

Alex is doing a great job — the dispatches, and the photos which add so much to them.
