Gang of Seven

Some time back I wrote that the LPUK had become a zombie party alive in name only and kept ambulant by a group of four people filling in the roles of officers, without mandate. I had hoped that, nearly 28 weeks later, a lack of support would cause the party to close and the whole distracting mess to come to an end.

Of course that may still occur in March, but unfortunately observers of the party website have noted that the Party has associated itself with three new faces. Fresh blood for the zombie to feed or the start of a comeback, who knows? The new faces are:

  • Guy Montrose, has assumed the label of Communications Director, usurping the elected Ken Ferguson well ahead of the March AGM.
  • Zohir Uddin has apparently joined the “admin team” as “commissioning editor”. This is a new role and team.
  • Charlotte Neal has also joined the new “admin team” as administrator and PR.

I have contacted Guy and Charlotte online to ensure they have a line of communication to “the other side”. I have been unable to locate Zohir Uddin online to extend the same courtesies. I would like to wish all three of them the best of luck in their roles, however, my assessment of the party’s final destination is unchanged and these fresh souls are very brave to participate.
