The TFA are promoting three events this week, though two seem to be suitable only for students and professional politicians as they are on during the day.
Tonight (Tuesday 15th May) 07:30pm is the Westminster Village Pub Quiz. Register, and head to The Old Star, SW1H 1DN. Entry is priced at £2 for non-members.
Wednesday (16th May):
11.15am the TFA will launch a campaign to reform the Public Order Act with David Davis, Peter Tatchell, along with the Christian Institute, and National Secular Society. They say “Insulting words or behaviour are outlawed by Section 5, and this is having a chilling effect on free speech right across our country, in a wide range of communities”. To attend, find your way to Committee Room 5 in the palace of Westminster.
1.00pm “Freedom in the City with Quentin Letts” gives us a rare opportunity to hear this author and critic speak. Register, and find your way to The Counting House Pub, Cornhill, EC3V 3PD.
