Things generally kick off from around 1830 as people come directly from work.

Simon – Since I’ve heard nothing from you, I take it that your tentative invitation to me to attend is now withdrawn. I think that’s a shame but clearly you have your reasons which (whatever they are) I respect.
I am still willing to attend a meeting on the same basis as we briefly discussed by email, should you ever reconsider.

Nic, I’m sorry to hear that.
Given the organic nature of the event, I’m not sure how anyone could uninvite you even if they wanted to, but in fact you are more than welcome. I think people are keen to hear your side of the story.
I did try to send a confirmation of the date but I can see from my sent items folder that it won’t have reached you. It would be a real shame to let issues like that put you off, and I hope you can still make it. November 3rd is the next date, if you can’t.

Looks like a bit of a lack of communication (and me being away cider-making!). Everything is fine.
I’ll be there this Thursday, and I’ve just seen from the map that the pub is round the corner from a place I used to work – Friars Bridge Court – so I’ve been drinking there in the past. See you then.

For me, many issues that the party had was a break down in communications/trust which could easily be resolved by a simple discussion between individuals (meetup). It is a shame that some individuals decided to do down the path of issuing threats/coercion which goes against all libertarian principles which they claim to represent.
