I attended this talk on Tuesday and it was very impressive, if terrifying. I also picked up a copy of the book which is at the top of my to read pile (I did ask him if he accepted payment for it in gold or silver, to whcih he replied no one had offered it yet!)
Maybe a campaign for sound money should be one of our items for discussion on Saturday?
Alas – the Central Banks have learned nothing.
Even as I type this the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the Bank of Canada, the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan are engaging in yet more antics – designed to prop up the various stock markets with yet more credit money.
This is not a failure of a particular Central Bank or a particular government (for the elected governments support all this “monetary expansion) – this is indeed the failure of the fiat money SYSTEM.
