It is almost as if the newspaper producing this smear job was owned by a KGB disinformation man.
However, the newspaper is “Independent” (it is the very title of the publication), so that could not possibly be true.

As the saying goes; when your getting flack, it means you’re over the target.
These puritan bastards cannot stand anyone who can rationally dispute their wafer-thin ‘evidence’. Their strategy, the same as the enviro-mentalists is to accuse everyone who disagrees of being in the pay of ‘Big Tobacco’ / ‘Big Oil’ (delete as applicable).
What probably also pisses them off is that Mark is a liberal, and this adds to the exposure of themselves as jackboot-licking control-freaks.
