    1. But seriously: John Redwood has an announcement of an e-mail tax. One of these two is an April Fool, one isn’t. As neither of these are in the slightest bit funny I’m left wondering if I picked the correct fake.

    Fabian inversion at work. 364 days a year we are served up hatstand ideas and concepts. Double inversion is they are not joking, but very serious.

    That spaghetti was all a dry run…once they realised what they could get away with, it was full steam ahead.

  4. It’s morally and ethically wrong and it won’t work anyway. Do they think terrorists haven’t heard of TOR, anonymous proxies, SSL webmail, etc etc. Do they think the public will stand for this? Libertarian Home and the wider libertarian movement should champion the fight against this. It plays to our values, we have a lot of technology people “on the books”, and it can introduce the wider population to our wider message.
