If it is “selected by the government” it is clearly not a private railway. And, of course, the railway is actually 100% government owned (via Network Rail).
Yet the attacks on the “privateized” raliways are made every day.
Living in modern Britain (indeed living in the modern world) is like living in a lunatic asylem.
