Thanks everyone who came on Thursday. It was a fun, if exhausting experience, hosting an event like this, but I think managed to pull of a great evening. I’m particularly grateful for the speakers who brought their best arguments along for us to hear. All of the speakers delivered their arguments clearly and concisely and demonstrated deep insight in their fields.
A special thanks to Ian Dunt for standing in at the last minute for James Bloodworth.
This is how it looked from the audience.
And this is they, the most important people, the paying audience:
This is what photographer and libertarian activist Brian Micklethwait said about you:
the most impressive thing about this event, [..] the number and quality of those who attended. In this respect, the evening reminded me of those big Liberty League gatherings that happen earlier in the year.
This is the feedback filling my ears and inflating my head since Thursday:
As the event organiser, it’s nice to hear positive feedback about something very specific that you did, like decide on the format of the event!
Amazingly some people believed the event was not perfect (to be fair, I’ve been my own worst critic all weekend too)
That kind of specific and actionable feedback is very valuable to me. Thanks Jonathan (and thanks for the nice photo too).
Don’t be shy if you have similar feedback. What did you not like? What would you do differently? What did you want to hear more about? Leave a comment or contact me.
