WHERE HAVE I WALKED SO FAR?
I left Kent on 3rd August 2014 and walked West along the South coast of England all the way to Cornwall.
Then all the way up the Welsh coast.
North West England was next, Lancashire and Cumbria.
I hopped on a ferry and walked round the Isle of Man.
I walked the South West coast of Scotland to Stranraer where I got a ferry across to Belfast.
From Belfast I walked South all the way down the East coast of Ireland, through Dublin and then headed West along the South coast of Ireland.
Now I’m in Cork.
WHERE HAVE I GOT LEFT TO WALK?
From Cork I’m heading towards the West coast of Ireland where I’ll start walking North towards Galway and back to Northern Ireland.
I’ll get the ferry from Belfast back across to Stranraer in Scotland.
From there I’ll walk all the way up the West coast of Scotland, over the top and start heading South all the way down the East coast of Scotland, through Edinburgh.
Then I’ll continue down the East coast of England, through London until I’m back where I started in Kent.
I should be at the finish line in Kent some time in Autumn 2017. I’ll have walked about 10,000 miles by then.
THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me doing this walk so far and who has donated to this incredible charity that rescues an average of 23 people at sea every day around Ireland and the UK.
You can DONATE HERE: http://www.bt.com/longwalkround
The RNLI is a charity that relies on thousands of volunteers from communities all around our coast and from donations. They receive no money from either the Irish or British governments.
Its a charity I’m inspired by every single day and I’m looking forward to the next 2ish years of walking- rain or shine.
