    Marriage should be a private matter. No government marriage – which did exist (in England and Wales) before 1836 anyway.

    And there should not be any government “anti discrimination” stuff – if a person or private association decides to “recognise Gay Marriage” that is fine, and if they decide NOT to “recognise Gay Marriage” that is also fine.
