At least the BBC are consistent – consistently vile. For example, the argument in Italy was over a proposed increase in the sales tax – but you would not have heard that from the BBC coverage.
In the United States – the vast majority of people oppose both Obamacare, and they also oppose an increase in the debt limit without some reduction of government spending.
The democratically elected members of the House of Representatives are only doing what they were elected to do.
But, again, one would not hear that from the BBC (or from the American media).
As I explained on Twitter, it’s like the Queen (Obama) and the House of Lords (Senate) blocking the Commons (House of Representatives). If anyone should yield, it’s Obama and the Senate.
