As the schools and universities teach that money making business is evil (as do television and Hollywood films – in spite of Hollywood being dominated by money-mad people) a lot of young Americans would not get the joke.
And that is scary.

…and we have had years (decades?) of brainwashing that says savings are “a problem” that somehow results in less money in the economy.
How dare anyone compete with state-printed lending operations!
